Amazon Has Banned My Anti-MMT Book

It appears that Amazon has banned my book, "Problems With Modern Monetary Theory: A Comment on Stephanie Kelton's 'The Deficit Myth'"

For a while, it was ranked as the number one best seller in several Amazon categories.

It was selling very well. Apparently too well for Bezos and the "Deficits don't matter" crowd.

You will recall that when the book first came out, I had trouble with it because the link for the book at Amazon somehow ended up "Fast pink hot girls."

Find out what they don't want you to read. It is available by ordering through your local bookstore or online through Lulu.

In addition to my book, "Problems With Modern Monetary Theory: A Comment on Stephanie Kelton's 'The Deficit Myth'" being blocked/banned/delisted. (It is back up after my distributor called Amazon).

It appears that a large number of broadly classified "right-wing" books beyond my book have been blocked/banned/delisted byAmazon. It is not clear if this is temporary, a rogue employee or what.:

I have warned about Ezekiel Emanuel before.

In August 2009, I wrote:

If you lump all the mad scientists that have been put on the big screen by Hollywood, you are still not going to come up with the mad, totally insane ideas of Ezekiel Emanuel.

It is no surprise that he would turn up with mad advice during the current COVID-19 panic.

In a co-authored article in The New York Times, he writes along with Aaron Glickman and Amaya Diana:

We need to sharply reduce coronavirus infections to turn the tide and quell the pandemic. The best hope is to maximize the number of people vaccinated, especially among those who interact with many others and are likely to transmit the virus.

How can we increase vaccinations? Mandates.

Vaccines should be required for health care workers and for all students who plan to attend in-person classes this fall — including younger children once the vaccine is authorized for them by the Food and Drug Administration.

And get this from the article:

Religious or philosophical exemptions should not be allowed...Mandates are the last tool we want to deploy to increase vaccination rates. But all indications are that the United States is going to need a mandate to reduce transmission, achieve herd immunity and get back to normal.

Also:

Polling suggests almost 60 percent of all Americans are already vaccinated or want a vaccine as soon as possible. But younger people, white evangelicals and conservatives are among those less likely to feel the urgency. To return to our prepandemic lives, we will need to achieve herd immunity, with 70 percent to 85 percent of the population having some form of immunity. That’s a steep climb.

Mandates are the fastest way to get to herd immunity.

This, I remind you is for a virus that is of no serious consequence to 99% of the population and near-zero consequence to students. Further, presumably, those at high risk are already vaccinated if they have chosen to be.

This is the big problem: Emanuel is a member of Joe Biden's COVID-19 Advisory Board.

I stand by my 2009 take on him :

There is no other way to put this. Ezekiel Emanuel is probably the most dangerous man on earth.

He has a severe authoritarian complex and always manages to work his way into a position where he can act on it.

Biden, The GOP And What’s In Store For The Future

GOP future_murray_sabrin.png

Joe Biden’s vapid inaugural address sounded like it was written for an eighth grader by another eighth-grader. Many sentences had no more than a few words in it, there were no inspiring words or vision for America’s future and contained a list of grievances that sounded like we were living in a nation still clinging to Jim Crow laws. Given Biden’s cognitive challenges his speechwriters did not want him to try to articulate compound sentences for fear they would highlight his frailties.

The truth of the matter is America is one of the least “racist” societies in the world. We have the most sweeping antidiscrimination laws that have been on the books for more than five decades. The American people elected an African-American candidate for president not once but twice. Affirmative action policies have been in place for decades but have been criticized as a form of ”reverse racism,” because it takes people’s race and other characteristics into account in hiring and government contracts

More on Covid and Vitamin B1

By Bill Sardi

Vitamin B1.png

No more tubes forced down the throat (intubation). No more liquid feeding tubes. No more damage to the lung from positive pressure ventilators. Patients able to communicate freely, drink through a straw and eat solid food with assistance (spoon feeding). I’ve said it many times, we ought to go back to the iron lung if we are going to end up with scarred lungs from positive pressure ventilators.

Once the autonomic nervous system fails and patients have to consciously breathe, they can’t go to sleep (unconscious) and still breathe at the same time. This breathlessness is what results in death that is mistakenly attributed to COVID-19. This EXOVENT device times the breathing for the patient.

A setback for the liberty movement.

by Robert Wenzell

a setback for the liberty movement.png

Well, it is over.

Four long years of turmoil and absurdity have passed. As Donald Trump flys to Mar-a-Lago, he leaves the country a mess. The radical left treated the buffoon as a perfect foil. And he was.

The socialists used each of the 1,461 days of the Reign of Trump as an ultimate recruiting period. Lenin never had it so easy.

The Left thrived during the Trump presidency. Cancel culture, identity politics and calls for equity stink up the country. The kids are all socialists now, thinking Trump represents capitalism.

The Shocking Politicization of Everything

The head of a union representing flight attendants from 17 airlines said the people who stormed the U.S. Capitol on Wednesday should be banned from getting back on planes and flying home.

“Some of the people who traveled in our planes yesterday participated in the insurrection at the Capitol today,”  Sara Nelson, international president of the Association of Flight Attendants-CWA said in a statement. “Their violent and seditious actions at the Capitol today create further concern about their departure from the DC area.”

“Acts against our democracy, our government, and the freedom we claim as Americans must disqualify these individuals from the freedom of flight."

Now, the House Homeland Security Committee is asking the FBI and TSA to add alleged perpetrators to the no-fly list.

But note well, no one has been convicted of anything. And if there are convictions, it is the job of a judge to determine punishment not the head of a flight attendants union or anti-Trump Democrats in the House.

Protest with BLM that includes rioting, looting and burning, and you get to walk (or fly) without any repercussions from the judicial system, try that in favor of Trump and the Left throws out the rule of law in favor of its own immediate punishment.

The country is going down a very bad road where the rule of law is trashed in favor of arbitrary determination of the guilty and bizarre selective arbitrary determination of punishment.

It is here, the politicization of everything. We have reached the next phase in a Mao-style cultural revolution in the United States.

Can Chinese-style social credit scores, which limit activities for those with low scores, be far behind?

Why Has the Flu Disappeared this year?

Suggested reading by Prof. Sabrin, Ph. D

There is something very strange going on with flu reports.

Flu reports are 62% below normal---according to the CDC. Most of the country is showing minimal flu activity. It's all green (minimal activity) according to the CDC.

The CDC is coming up with some pretty convoluted explanations for what is occurring but there is nothing definitive as to why flu has disappeared this year.

How the Libertarian Party Can Gain Serious Attention and Influence

By Robert Wenzel

Well, it was another dismal performance for the Libertarian Party in this year's just passed election, especially at the presidential level.

The Libertarian Party presidential candidate, Jo Jorgenson, received approximately 1.8 million votes (roughly 1.2% of the vote).

It was a yawner. There aren't even many post-mortems in the media about the vote. No one cares.

This is a tragedy given the close elections these days between the Republican and Democratic presidential candidates.

The races are close because internal polls of the major party campaigns have gotten very accurate in determining what candidates should say to voters and thus the vote will tend to be extremely close.

These close races are a great opportunity for the Libertarian Party because often in key swing states the margin between the loser and the victor can be less than the number that will vote Libertarian. Walter Block's Libertarian Voting Rule, that in states with close races you vote for the major party candidate that is less evil and that in races that aren't close you cast a protest vote for the Libertarian Party candidate, can be applied with a powerful result if it expanded as a Libertarian Party policy.

In 2024, whoever the Libertarian Party candidate is, the candidate should announce to the country that libertarians should only cast protest votes for the Libertarian presidential candidate in states where it is clear who the Republican or Democratic presidential winner will be.

The Libertarian nominee should also announce that in swing states, libertarians should not vote for him but for the lesser of the two evils. The Libertarian Party candidate should also invite on separate nights the Republican nominee and the Democratic nominee for live television discussions with the Libertarian candidate on the topic as to which nominee will advance the most libertarian agenda.

Talk about focus on libertarian thinking!

The outcome of the Libertarian candidate announcing, after the discussions as to who he considers less evil between the two major-party nominees and who he recommends libertarians should vote for in swing states, could determine the winner!

It would be difficult for the mainstream media to avoid coverage of libertarianism and if the questions are designed properly it would introduce to the general population what libertarianism is all about.

Given this would likely determine the outcome of the election, I would expect the Republican and Democratic presidential candidates to act like Greyhound dogs chasing a mechanical rabbit to get the libertarian vote. It would be very interesting to see how they would approach their general interventionist pledges while still attempting to gain libertarian support.

Of course, there is the possibility that the D and R candidates would not participate in such discussions and in that case the Libertarian Party candidate would examine the public proposals of both candidates and still make a declaration of advice as to who libertarians should vote for in swing states.

In a very important way, the Libertarian Party would potentially have significant influence over who ends up in the White House and at the same time introducing to the general public libertarian ideas--which should be the most important goal.
