On Bramnick, Murphy Democrats put virtue-signaling before racial justice

In an attempt to distract attention away from the attempted cover-up of a rape within his own administration, Governor Phil Murphy and the Trenton Democrats have attacked Assembly Republican Leader Jon Bramnick, a trial attorney, for his firm’s pledge to zealously defend those accused of sex offenses. That is right, Jon Bramnick’s law firm believes in the Bill of Rights and the very American idea that someone is innocent until proven guilty.

Not long ago, so did every good liberal…

The Innocence Project is not a group that anyone would call right-of-center. They take up the cases of those they consider to have been wrongly convicted – and wrongful convictions happen when law firms don’t do what Jon Bramnick’s firm promises to do… to defend their accused clients zealously.

The Innocence Project reports that the first DNA exoneration happened in 1989. There have been 367 DNA exonerations to date. All people wrongly accused or let down by lawyers who didn’t do what Jon Bramnick’s firm is being attacked for doing.

These innocent people – mainly men – served a total of 5,907 ½ years in prison for crimes they did not commit. The average time served in prison before exoneration was 14 years.

The average age at the time of their wrongful conviction was 26 ½ years. The average age at exoneration was just under 43 years.

42 percent of these cases involved cross-racial misidentification. 225 of those falsely accused and convicted were African-American. That is 61 percent.

Most exonerations involved sex offenses that they were falsely accused of committing. After these innocent people were exonerated, 162 actual assailants were identified. Those actual perpetrators went on to be convicted of 152 additional violent crimes, including 82 sexual assaults, 35 murders, and 35 other violent crimes while the innocent sat behind bars for their earlier offenses.

Apparently, Governor Murphy and the Democrats only cry “racism” when it involves a be-in , a protest, a statue, or a flag… real racism – by white collar, professional, prosecutorial and judicial elites – they could not care less about. That kind of racism involves their people, rich people, and rich people are always right… Just ask Wall Streeters Phil and Tammy Murphy. They’ll tell you how good they are.

Murphy and the Trenton Democrats are phonies. B.S. marketing reps who sell a line of crap they don’t really believe in. They lack character.

Governor Murphy and the Democrats should be ashamed of what they tried to do here. Especially given the backdrop of sexual assault and rape within their own administration.

Monday’s Rallies were coordinated by a Pro-Venezuela dictator group (why did Dem candidates attend?)

It is no secret that the United States, along with much of the civilized world, has recognized the opposition leader in Venezuela as the new head of government, in an attempt to end the Socialist dictatorship that is literally starving the people of Venezuela to death.  Along with recognizing the new government of Venezuela, the civilized world has been pushing for the Socialist dictatorship to end and the dictator, President Nicolas Maduro, to resign.

To end the suffering and starvation of the Venezuelan people, the Trump administration and other national governments around the world have sent food and other forms of aid to the people of Venezuela.  But there are others, here in America and elsewhere, who don’t want to admit that – once again – socialism has failed.  That the dictatorship in Venezuela is only the latest in a long chain of evidence that shows that their pet cause and childish dream doesn’t work.  From the Ukraine to China, people always end up starving to death because of it.

On Monday, an organization named CREDO Action coordinated more than 200 rallies across America against Donald Trump.  This came on the same day that Donald Trump asked Venezuelans and the Venezuelan military to dump the socialist dictator Nicolas Maduro.  A curious coincidence, isn’t it?

CREDO Action is a new creation, closely connected to a group called the Centre for Economic and Policy Research (CEPR), which has been around for twenty years.  CEPR is a Leftist think tank based in Washington, DC.  One of CEPR’s core interests is Latin America policy.  According to Wikipedia…

CEPR has published at length about Venezuela and has been described as supporting Hugo Chávez and the Venezuelan government with some of the data presented by CEPR along with Weisbrot being accused of using slanted information to support the Venezuelan government. Staff members such as Mark Weisbrot, CEPR's founder, and Deborah James, the former director of the Venezuelan government's Venezuela Information Office, have attended pro-Venezuelan government events alongside other activists such as Daniel Kovalik Venezuelanalysis.com, a pro-Bolivarian website, has also used CEPR as their only source of economic indicators for their website since 2007.

So why are Democrat Party legislators and legislative candidates shilling for a South American dictator who is starving his own people?

Why are they bashing Donald Trump, when he is providing food and other aid to the starving people of Venezuela?  Do they oppose feeding the hungry?

Do they hate Donald Trump that much… or do they love the Socialist dictator Maduro?  Maduro would rather all Venezuela starve to death than to see his Socialist dictatorship lose power.  Local politics is going international… and getting weirder and weirder.

These local legislative candidates are supposed to be finding ways to cut property taxes and ways to better educate our children and instead they are out on the streets attacking the American government, doing the work of a South American dictator who is starving his own people to death.  These Democrats should be ashamed.

Democrats to allow convicted criminals to lobby elected officials

The Democrats have a new demographic to practice their identity politics on... convicted criminals.  That's right.  The Democrat Party in New Jersey wants to give convicted criminals -- including those behind bars -- the right to vote.

Yep, a week after the Brady gang, NOW, Action Together, and the new Weather Underground (aka ANTIFA) held rallies across the state to protest the NRA, their party announced its support for turning cell blocks into voting blocks and prison gangs into GOTV operations.  One group of liberals is rallying to take away your ability to protect your family from murder, rape, and robbery; while a different group of liberals is giving electoral power to murderers, rapists, and robbers.  Such symmetry.  It's liberalism at its most brilliant.

Now we all know what happens when a politician smells a vote.  They're going to give something away to get it.  Laws are going to get progressively weaker and weaker.  Especially when the Star-Ledger reports that there are 100,000 criminal votes to be had in New Jersey.  That many votes could easily swing a statewide election and a large prison population would certainly shift the balance in a legislative seat or two.

Imagine Shawn Custis as a prison ward leader, lobbying the Democrat-majority Legislature, organizing a petition drive (doubtless with the help of Action Together and the Women's March) to get Governor Goldman-Sachs 2.0 and Tammy Jane Fonda to sign into law a community release program that gets him out of doors again... Coming to an average door in an average community like yours.

And you won't have a weapon to defend yourself when it happens, because the other set of "enlightened folk" will have already solved that for you.  Let's vilify law-abiding gun owners while we pander to actual convicted criminals.  Makes sense... if you want a Mad Max kind of world.

So who is the new political leader from Rahway?  Why it is the Honorable Mr. Custis.  Oh, you don't know him?  Well here, why don't you catch some of his work...

We'd like to hear from NOW... the Women's March... Action of the Hand... and other Democrat groups.  Rally about this, why don't you?
