How To Permanently Impede the Killing of Forty Thousand Israeli Babies Yearly: Eliminate the Female Military Draft Altogether

Wouldn't it be wonderful if we could help permanently put a real dent in the horrific killings of an estimated 40,000 Israeli preborn babies yearly - by abortionists? We can - by pushing for the total elimination of the female Military Draft.

If the Israeli government would comply with the Torah - on this one issue - by simply eradicating the military draft - for of all girls and women, regardless of religion or religiosity - that one policy shift would foment a sea change in Israeli society, with MANY positive results, including the reduction of extramarital relationships and resulting abortions. For a list of some of the benefits of this one policy change, see part two of our post of yesterday "Chareidiyos & IDF: Breakthrough or Breakdown:"

https://savehischildren.blogspot.com/2021/04/chareidi-women-idf-breakthrough-or.html,
http://daattorah.blogspot.com/2021/04/chareidiyos-idf-breakthrough-or.html.

We can help in this process by urging those in Israel, as well as others, to prioritize the exemption of all girls and women from the Israeli Army draft law, Including non-religious girls.

It's crucial to realize that this is one positive legislative change that, if enacted, will most likely remain permanent, regardless of future governments. Once the secular and traditional girls feel the benefits of freedom, they will almost certainly refuse to give that liberty away.

Background:.

For approximately seventy years, the Israeli Army has been drafting girls and young women, in blatant violation of both Torah Law and basic human decency. Leading Torah sages fought this evil edict decades ago, and were able to ensure that the law allowed religious girls an exemption.

Tragically, non-religious girls remained obligated to enlist. As a result, hundreds of thousands of girls and women have enlisted in the notoriously immoral, exploitive Army over the past seven decades. This one policy had decimated Israeli society in multiple ways.

For instance, drafting girls has fomented a culture of ramant immorality, in the Army as well as in the broader culture. It's one thing for a young woman to leave the Army at the end of her service; it's quite another for the immoral Army impact to leave her.

Tragically they generally bear their Army experience - and its corrosive moral impact - with them through life. In fact, the pro-Israel organization Chotam recently disseminated a recent report of an official Israeli government agency responsible for collecting statistics that over 80% of previously religious women who served in the Israeli military report a serious decline in their religious observance*.

This is no surprise, especially in light of other reports on the culture of immorality pervasive in the antireligious- dominated Israeli military

(e.g. see http://firstamendmentactivist.blogspot.com/2020/02/creep-state.html).

As a natural consequence of this government instigated depravity, abortion has become rampant, Including within immigrant communities of Jews (e.g. sefardic, Yemenite and Ethiopian Jews), in which it was perhaps almost unheard of for many hundreds, even thousands of years.

Another post of interest, relating to the Israeli military draft and abortion is https://firstamendmentactivist.blogspot.com/2020/07/every-refusenik-matters.html.

By advocating for such a policy shift in Israel, and highlighting the multitude of societal pitfalls the female military draft policy involves, perhaps we can alert some in the western world just how devastating the western Equality paradigm is. It's a lesson vitally needed now, especially as the lunacy of the false equality of unequals is ascendant, in the wake of Republican party sellouts in the U.S. Thus, we have everything to gain by pushing for the liberation of all Israeli women from the military draft.

Pro-Life groups rally at Democrats’ offices across the state

“DAY OF OUTRAGE” PUTS A DENT IN WEINBERG, HUTTLE, GREENBERG, JASEY, ARMATO, GOPAL ET AL’S S-3030/ A-4848 ABORTION BILL

by Dvorah

It was a big win for every New Jersey mother, father, and family defending life. A group of New Jersey Pro-Life defenders from all around the state gathered in front of legislators’ offices to defend and demand respect for the lives of unborn children, their mothers and fathers, and to honor the traditional family. Organizations such as the Center for Garden State Families (Rev. Gregory Quinlan), New Jersey Right to Life (Marie Tasy), LifeNet (Christine Flaherty), Black Genocide (Rev. Clenard Childress), the Family Policy Council, and groups from local churches gathered in front of Assemblywoman Mila Jasey’s office in Maplewood, Senator Gopal’s office in Freehold, and Assemblyman Armato’s office in Northfield.

Reverend Gregory Quinlan, from the Center of Garden State Families, adamantly stated their position: “We know this has gotten Assemblywoman Mila Jasey concerned due to her immediate response as soon as she saw the crowd. This bill is a constitutional right to kill. We are fighting to preserve the constitutional right for life.”

The bill they are opposing, S-3030/ A-4848, uses open-ended language that victims’ groups fear will draw human traffickers to New Jersey and make our state a hub for exploitation.  The bill explicitly guarantees what it calls “reproductive autonomy” to anyone with a bus or airline ticket to New Jersey.  The bill provides no-questions-asked taxpayer-funded contraception, abortion, and medical coverage “to carry a pregnancy to term.”  The bill specifically states that “it should be liberally construed to effectuate the purposes.”

Noticeably absent in the Act is any language limiting abortions at any period of gestation, an aspect that deeply concerns New Jersey Right to Life Executive Director, Marie Tasy.

“This bill is to protect child sex traffickers.  For the past 6 years we have been uncovering and bringing attention to the devastating realization that trafficking occurs in the State of New Jersey, and we will not stop until we save our children,” noted Rev. Quinlan.

The rallies brought out many mothers, grandmothers, daughters, and fathers from all nationalities with signs reading “Kill the bill, not me”, “If Black Lives Matter, why does legislators continue to perform black genocide” and “End Abortion”.  Passing vehicles on the heavily used streets registered their support.

Local NJ news outlets provided substantial coverage for this “Day of Outrage,” a fact appreciated by many Pro-Life defenders. Pastors from churches came and spoke about why it is so relevant to defend the dignity of life as well as discuss the atrocities surrounding human trafficking that many do not wish to hear, but aware that it is the reality one must confront.

A previous Pro-Life “Day of Outage” occurred on Veteran’s Day, in three locations as well: Senator Loretta Weinberg’s office in Teaneck, Assemblywoman Huttle in Englewood, and Senator Greenstein in Cranbury. Those events were well-attended, but the movement against S-30303/ A-4848 is growing, and there was a significant increase in turn out this time around.

Pastors, grandparents, veterans, and teenagers came to speak out for life and to say enough with the blatant disregard to humanity.  Pastor John Grove, of the Columbus Baptist Church in Burlington County, has been involved for 30 years in the Pro-Life movement. He retold his personal encounter with abortion. He informed the crowd how his wife, waiting in the hospital, was told that her baby would be stillborn. While waiting, another expecting mother, with a big belly, was wheeled next to Pastor Grove’s wife. To their horror, they heard the nurse indicate that the expecting mother, with the big belly, was set aside to have an abortion. “Something clicked in me. Here I am, having my first child be stillborn and right next to me another mother, ready to give birth, was going for an abortion”, recalls Pastor Grove.

“To state the unborn, (which is a pre-born from the minute the sperm joins embryo, to full development of nine months), that baby-to-be-born, is given no constitutional right under this bill, it’s the ultimate degradation towards respecting humanity,” added Rev. Quinlan.

New  Jersey: Say No to Roe Infanticide Act

by Marie Tasy

In the middle of a  pandemic, Governor Murphy and pro-abortion legislators are shamelessly championing the NJ Reproductive Freedom Act (S030/A4848), a radical bill with multiple components that ignores science, endangers the lives of women, causes more babies to die in abortion and will deprive the right of NJ citizens to vote on one of the most important human rights issues of our time.  It also seeks to restrain future legislatures’ authority to pass laws in accord with evolving scientific advances and contains a number of other grievous elements, some of which will be addressed in this op-ed.  In recent days, we have learned that Assemblyman Vincent Mazzeo (D-2, Northfield, NJ) whose district includes Atlantic County, has signed on to become a co-sponsor of this terrible bill.

The legislation “explicitly guarantee, to every individual, the fundamental right to reproductive autonomy, which includes the right to contraception the right to abortion and the right to carry a pregnancy to term.”   The Act says that “it should be liberally construed to effectuate the purposes.”  Noticeably  absent in the Act is any language  limiting abortions at any period of gestation.

Ultrasound has allowed us a window into the womb where we can witness a baby in utero and clearly see the beauty of  humanity and wonder of life that exists within the child,  a stage of life that existed at one time for all of us, and thankfully, still does.   The Act says a baby in utero “shall have no independent rights under the laws of this state,” stripping them of their life and dignity through inhumane procedures that would not be tolerated if they were done to a cat or dog.  The Act will permit these procedures to be done during all stages of pregnancy, even when the baby in utero is viable and full-term.  This is clearly not a position supported by the majority of people across our country and in our state.

New Jersey already has one of the most permissive laws in the nation when it comes to abortion, but the Reproductive Freedom Act slides us down into the dark abyss even further.   Some of the few safety protections for women that have existed up until now will be completely eradicated by this Act.   That is because the Act specifically eliminates the rules and regulations promulgated by the NJ Board of Medical Examiners.

These include, but are not limited to, eliminating the requirement that only physicians licensed to practice medicine and surgery can perform abortions.  The Reproductive Freedom Act permits non-physicians to perform abortions and sets no limits on the performance of an abortion at any stage of pregnancy.  Since the Act completely voids the NJ Board of Medical Examiners regulations regarding termination of pregnancy and any other statute or laws that conflict with the Act’s purpose, it will also eliminate the safety protocol that required to be performed in a licensed hospital after 14 weeks gestation, as well as invalidate the Conscience Clause for health care workers.

Currently, a disproportionate number of abortions in New Jersey are performed on women of color.  This Act will sadly increase the number of minority babies whose lives are ended in abortion and further place the lives of minority women in danger.  The sponsors claim that they have introduced the bill to ensure that all New Jerseyans have access to abortion, but the Act says residents, non-residents, minors, and those who are incarcerated, regardless of where they are domiciled, can get an abortion, paid for by NJ taxpayers.  Not only will this make NJ a national refuge for sex traffickers and others who exploit and abuse minors by bringing them to NJ to get an abortion, but it will also attract those who will do so from outside our U.S. borders as well.

The Act also “exempts prosecution for individuals terminating or attempting to terminate the individual’s own pregnancy; or acting or failing to act in any manner with respect to the individual’s own pregnancy, based on the potential or actual impact on the individual’s own health or pregnancy.”  In addition, the bill eliminates the requirement that a medicolegal death investigation be conducted in a case where “a fetal death occurs without medical attendance.”  Whether it was the sponsors’ intentions or not, the language in the Act is so sweeping that it can be interpreted to prevent prosecution for the infanticide of a newborn infant. This will negate the effectiveness of NJ’s Safe Haven Infant Protection Law which has successfully saved the lives of 77 newborns since its enactment.

Lastly, the Act will require all NJ health insurance companies and policies to cover abortion and coverage for contraceptives for a 12-month supply with no deductibles, no-co-insurance and no co-payments.  If the Act passes and becomes law, NJ taxpayers will be footing the bill for “individuals who are incarcerated, are living in government-funded institutions or are otherwise under governmental control or supervision” as well as “residents and those who come into the state” as stated in the Act.

The Reproductive Freedom Act is full of abortion extremism that should be completely rejected by our citizens.   The fact that Governor Murphy and legislative sponsors are attempting to push it through the legislature during a pandemic is especially unconscionable.   The entire Legislature and Governor are up for re-election in 2021.   It’s time to show them we are watching and demand that they oppose the Act and withdraw it from consideration.
