Grassroots Action: Seminar on the new NJ state education standards July 8th

A Seat at the Table” invites you to an important event.

NOTE: This event has been subject to a controversial attack led by local Democrat politician Sean Fitzgerald. Initially Fitzgerald raised some civil arguments – particularly with the term “grooming’ – but those he organized on social media turned it into a full-throated attack on the Catholic Church.

Fitzgerald seems to forget the decade long national “epidemic” of reported cases in which teachers have had sex with their students. “Epidemic” is the assessment of CBS News – not some Christian think tank. According to the victims group cited in this video, it is so common that 1 in 10 school children will become the victim of teacher sexual misconduct. Arguably, “grooming” will be part of it…

One of Fitzgerald’s group attacked the event because “it seems to imply that the schools are creating LGBTQ kids.” Actually, that’s been suggested by a Hollywood liberal who donated a million dollars to Barack Obama and who serves on the boards of PETA and NORML…

Hopefully, all sides will put children first and conduct a civil and intellectually curious discussion. It’s a wide world out there. Be skeptical, ask tough questions, but don’t close your eyes tight.

"A Seat at the Table" was founded by New Jerseyans who believe influence is for all of us. New Jersey will see a resurgence when everyday citizens have a seat at the table. We are a bridge between grassroots and establishment, allowing everyone to have a voice in the future of our state.

“In a time of deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act.”
