Congressman Chris Smith Demands US Attorney Garland to perform a federal investigation for the grotesque deaths of 5 babies
/When we hear or see the names of Senators such as Senator James Lankford, Senator Marsha Blackburn and Senator Mike Lee, you quickly comprehend the reverence and resolve they emanate when defending and protecting the Pre-Born.
The same applies to New Jersey Congressman Chris Smith. As Co-Chair of the Pro-Life Congressional Caucus, his trajectory for defending the Pre-Born encompasses from acknowledging the Pre-Born deserving the right to survive, protecting them from feeling pain to banning funding for interstate travel for vulnerable minors crossing seeking an abortion, which inevitably ties into to the human trafficking black market.
Today, Congressman Smith along with Senator Mike Lee sent a letter demanding the US Attorney General Merrick Garland to perform an exhaustive investigation for the brutal and gruesome murders of five babies who were found in a Washington, DC. clinic.
This, after an inital letter, signed by a myriad of Pre-Born Rights Defenders Senators and Congressional leaders was directed to Mayor Bower and the Police Chief Metropolian Police Department Contee for the discovery of 5 pre-born babies remains found in the facility where Dr. Cesare Santangelo, the late-term abortionist oversees the “clinic”.
When you fully uncover and understand the gut churning, inconceivable act of how the Pre-Born’s lives are ended, some of the pre-born either dismembered, other babies charred or burned alive or some of the infants, fully alive until they are partially out of the mother’s body only to be murdered, you can understand standing for the sanctity of Life needs to remain at the forefront, to educate society of the atrocities of abortion.
The idea that the Police Department deemed it unnecessary to conduct an investigation for finding the remains of 5 infants, who were dismembered, but assumed that the act was a “legal abortion” led to the demand for a federal investigation.
“We are gravely concerned by allegations brought forward that suggest a preborn baby underwent a partial-birth abortion at the Washington Surgi-Clinic in Washington, D.C. 1 We demand that you conduct a comprehensive investigation on the circumstances surrounding the deaths of each preborn baby” states Congressman Smith and Senator Lee.

Please be warned, it is very disturbing; the only conclusion that the infants did feel such indescribable pain and their lives were imminently disregarded.
An abortion in which a physician deliberately and intentionally…. delivers a living, child… for the purpose of performing … the puncturing of the back of the child’s skull and removing the baby’s brains,… the person knows they will kill the partially delivered infant, performs this act, and then completes delivery of the dead infant – is a gruesome and inhumane procedure that is never medically necessary and should be prohibited.”2
Congressman Smith and Senator Mike Lee furthermore requested that the Federal Bureau Investigation examine whether a violation of federal law did occur; while seeking that the Department of Justice respectfully preserve the babies for autopsy and evidence.
We commend Congressman Smith for taking the stand for protecting the most vulnerable and holding all those accountable for performing such egregious act against humanity. Always leading and being at the forefront of every pro-life battle, his recognition as the true Pro-Life Champion, he certainly has earned the respect and appreciation among his peers and the pro-life movement throughout decades.
A response by the US Attorney and agencies is to be submitted by April 11, 2022.
