A two-minute video that accurately depicts what happened in Trenton yesterday (and you got the bill)

Senate President Steve Sweeney is a rather immoral guy. On a whole lot of levels. In a whole lot of ways.

He waits until after the November election to unfold a legislative agenda that was fashioned by a hellish cabal of special interests. Sweeney, as we know, is running for the Democrat nomination for Governor in 2021, so the campaign has already started, at least as far as lining up the money is concerned.

Sweeney wouldn’t dare do it before the election, when the voters would have had the opportunity to hold Sweeney’s fellow Democrats to account. He’s like the tradesman who gives his victim a pleasant estimate at the beginning… and then presents her with a grossly inflated bill after the job is done. It’s immoral.

Sweeney’s victims are working mothers and others who depend on the flexible arrangements that working as an independent contractor provides them. The Democrat wants to make such arrangements illegal in New Jersey. And true to form, many other Democrats are going to back his profoundly anti-worker legislation.

It’s called Senate Bill S-4204. The bill has one sponsor – Senate President Steve Sweeney. Yesterday, despite acknowledging that S-4204 was “flawed” and “confusing” and “disappointing”, the anti-worker Democrats on the Senate Labor Committee dutifully passed legislation – that they agree is a mess – out of committee and to the full Senate for a vote.

If these people were moral, if they possessed any integrity at all, they would not use the so-called “lame duck” session after an election to rush through all the controversial legislation they sat on all year long. It spits on notions of transparency, democracy, and honest government. But we all know what they are up to… these are just the games played by brutes in power…

We understand and respect the AFL-CIO’s impulses in supporting S-4204, but we believe they are wrong to conflate those who are forced to work as “independent contractors” with those who do so because they want to – because it is their choice to work that way. Sweeney’s legislation goes way beyond correcting the legitimate concerns raised by our brothers and sisters at the AFL-CIO. The Democrat’s legislation is a thuggish, barbaric attempt to force workers – mainly women – against their will into a working arrangement that is not in their interest. This is akin to slavery.

And it is a slavery that does great harm to the beautiful idea of the right of working men and women to freely organize and collectively negotiate to achieve better pay and conditions in the workplace. When you allow a politician like Senate President Sweeney to replace the word “free” with the term “compel” you brutalize the entire labor movement. An environment is created that brutalizes every worker.

The Cause of Labor is the Hope of the World. We believe that. But that cause can only be achieved when it is a compact between free men and women, freely joining together as a union – the benefits of which should be so transparent that workers should wish to join freely, of their own accord. Proselytize, convince, but do not compel.

Let’s have labor unions made up of free men and women. Not enslaved workers.

Andy Kim keeps exaggerating his experience to cover up his lack of it.

Democrat Andy Kim's campaign just keeps putting out bullshit.  In a press release yesterday, they issued this statement from the hero of the Battle of the Little Big Horn himself:

Screen Shot 2018-04-27 at 11.52.36 AM.png

But the press release this statement was attached to was about a poll done for Andy Kim by a corrupt "dark money" group.  According to the Pulitzer award winning Center for Public Integrity, the group -- Patriot Majority USA -- was "fueled by secret, big-dollar donors."  The Center, which won Pulitzers in 2014 and 2017 for its investigative  reporting on money in politics, wrote that despite its claims to be "grassroots...  This hasn’t proven true. The organization reported no volunteers last year."

The kind of "special interests" Kim's friends represent are among the scummiest of the scum and include the gambling industry and the eleven biggest owners of for-profit nursing homes.  You know, the guys who penny-pinch on the care and feeding of vulnerable seniors in order to buy a wardrobe of $3,000 suits.

But never mind, because it is all in a good cause -- and that's the cause of Andy "war zone" Kim, the hero of the Battle of Bunker Hill.  Marines who have done six tours overseas do not talk about "war zones" as much as our Andy does.  It's an awful lot coming from somebody who never served a day in uniform and who is deathly afraid of guns... even toy guns.

Even more than "war zones" Kim likes to throw around the phrase "situation room" -- so much so that we debated whether or not to call him, "The Situation."

We just think we'll call him "the great cornholio".  It captures Andy Kim's ambitions, celebrity delusions, pathological self-regard, and perfect lack of commitment to his adopted state... aka the state he rents a house in (NJ) while keeping that million dollar condo in DC.

Tell us your choice:  "War Zones"; "The Situation": or Great Cornholio... which do you prefer?

Will investigation derail Eustace's appointment?

Word comes to us that the Doyen of the LGBT caucus -- Tim Eustace (AKA Brother Eustace, Major Eustace, the Kingfish, Great White...) -- shouldn't get too comfy in that new six-figure job of his.  Eustace's new job puts him in charge of water supplies in northern New Jersey.

Eustace -- an ally of Sussex Democrats Kate Matteson and Gina Trish, and friend to Bergen politicos like Josh Gottheimer and John McCann -- was appointed by Governor Murphy as the deputy director of North Jersey District Water Supply Commission.  The appointment was considered by many as a "consolation prize" for his being blocked for the State Senate, after a vacancy opened.  Just why he was blocked is still unclear.

Sources confirm that multiple ethics violations are being prepared -- and perhaps a New Jersey Election Law Enforcement (NJELEC) violation as well.   Some of this appears to involve the former Assemblyman's use of money raised for his re-election campaign to send a staffer to Nepal with a stop-over in Dubai.  It appears that Eustace accompanied the staffer on the far-east excursion.

Dinner in Dubai?

What's up with these Democrats?

Now take a look at this...

So let's get this straight.  Democrat Assemblyman Tim Eustace collects money from special interests, so that he and his legislative aide can fly around the world to do what?  You are a state legislator, not a congressman.  New Jersey doesn't have a foreign policy.

It looks like the former Democrat Assemblyman has some explaining to do.

Are these Democrats aware that Nepal is one of the worst centers for human trafficking and modern slavery in the world?  While dining with some bigwigs there did they know that, according to the U.S. State Department, "the government of Nepal does not fully comply with minimum standards for the elimination of human trafficking"?  Here is more, from Wikipedia:

"Human trafficking in Nepal is a growing criminal industry affecting multiple other countries beyond Nepal, primarily across Asia and the Middle East.   Nepal is mainly a source country for men, women and children subjected to forced labor and sex trafficking... Human trafficking is the fastest growing criminal industry in the world, second to drug dealing and tied with arms dealing."

"Trafficking victims often are taken to locations within Nepal, often from rural areas to the urban centers. Mainly young girls and women are trafficked for sexual exploitation in places such as cabin/dance restaurants, massage parlors, and other places within tourism sector... Within Nepal, labor trafficking is also common: victims often end up in carpet and garment factories, embroidering sweatshops, brick-kilns, and others."

"The trafficking of girls from Nepal into India for forced prostitution is perhaps one of the busiest slave trafficking routes anywhere in the world, with estimated 5,000-10,000 Nepali women and girls trafficked to India each year.   An estimated 100,000-200,000 Nepali trafficked persons are in India.   Nepali girls are especially desirable as prostitutes in India because they are considered more attractive due to their lighter skin color, and because Nepali virgins are believed to be able to cure AIDS.   Victims are also trafficked for labor in circuses, agriculture, and other manufacturing sectors.   The 1850 kilometers of open, porous border between Nepal and India make trafficking simple and difficult to catch.   In addition, there is no immigration control for Nepalese migrating to India or Indians coming in Nepal under the 1950 Peace and Friendship Treaty between India and Nepal.   In addition to being a destination, India is also a transit country for Nepalese and Bangladeshi women trafficked to Pakistan, Western Asia, and the Middle East and for women trafficked from the Russian Federation to Thailand."

"Victims, especially girls and women, are trafficked to Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Russia, Pakistan, the United Arab Emirates and other Gulf states.   Experts believe China is also becoming an emerging hub for Nepali victims.   Many victims who end up overseas are passed through India first before their final destinations... Girls are sold to brothels at prices ranging from 50,000 to 70,000 Indian rupees.   The younger the girl, the higher the price she will be sold for.   Once sold, the girls are property of the brothel owner until they can pay back the amount that was paid for them... One study reported that girls were forced to serve an average of 14 clients per day, with a minimum of three and a maximum of 40 men."

It is a very sad thing to see members of New Jersey's political class -- rich, liberal, and fortunate-to-have-been-born-in-America -- turn a blind eye to their impoverished sisters overseas.  Very sad indeed.

Assemblyman Eustace sent his staffer to Nepal?

Dinner in Dubai?

What's up with these Democrats?

Look, we're cool.  We tend not to involve ourselves in the world of our Democrat brothers and sisters.  We let them do them, so long as we are left alone to do us.

But lately a whole train of Dems are sticking their peckers into places where they certainly don't belong.  And so, we say, be done as you have done.

Now take a look at this shit...

Paid for by those special interests who pour money into Assemblyman Eustace's campaign account...

At the LD24 Sussex County debate on Tuesday evening, we heard Assemblyman Eustace's aide -- David "Mr. Frosty" Grant -- pontificate about how much he admired "strong (rich, suburban, one-percenter, liberal) women."  That is good as far as it goes, but what about all those other women who don't have the advantages that say Kate & Gina, the ANTIFA twins have, or that their running mate "Boom Boom" Hamilton has?  Again, Wikipedia takes up the story of those women:

"Trafficking victims often are taken to locations within Nepal, often from rural areas to the urban centers. Mainly young girls and women are trafficked for sexual exploitation in places such as cabin/dance restaurants, massage parlors, and other places within tourism sector... If Democrat Assemblyman Tim Eustace wants to do some good to counter his gross faux pas, perhaps he should make it a point to sign-on to the Human Trafficking and Child Exploitation Prevention Act (A-4503).  Republican Assemblyman Parker Space is a prime sponsor of A-4503 and Senator Steve Oroho (R-24) is the prime sponsor of the Senate version.  In fact, he gave the bill its name and the name several dozen such bills carry in nearly all of the 50 states.

So do some good, Tim.  And maybe you can ask your aide, Mr. Frosty, to suggest to his charges (the ANTIFA twins, Kate & Gina, and "Boom Boom") that they do some good too my endorsing the Human Trafficking and Child Exploitation Prevention Act (A-4503) instead of trashing its sponsors.

It is a very sad thing to see rich, liberal, fortunate-to-have-been-born-in-America, suburban women turn a blind eye to their impoverished sisters overseas.  Very sad indeed.
