Liar Mikie Sherrill is no Josh Gottheimer. Newcomer goes back on her word. Twice.

What’s wrong with Democrat Mikie Sherrill?

First, she told the voters of the 11th District that she wouldn’t support the deeply unpopular Nancy Pelosi for Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives.

Now, the media is reporting that Mikie Sherrill is going back on her word.  According to Roll Call, less than two weeks after being elected, she was already playing politics:

Democrats Who Ran Anti-Pelosi Campaigns Show Signs of Cracking

Some of the newly elected Democratic House members who said on the campaign trail they would not support Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi for speaker have already shown signs of cracking as Pelosi ramps up the pressure for them not to divide the party before it even takes control of the chamber in January.

Rep.-elect Mikie Sherrill, a New Jersey Democrat who said during her campaign that the party needs “new leadership, and it starts at the top,” declined to affirm that statement after meeting with Pelosi on Friday.

“I’m sorry, I got to go,” Sherrill told reporters waiting outside the minority leader’s office. She directed reporters to her press aide.

In an interview on Oct. 11 on local TV, Sherrill blasted her Republican opponent for trying to tie her to Pelosi at a debate.

“I don’t support Nancy Pelosi. I put out a commercial saying that I don’t support Nancy Pelosi,” Sherrill said.

The New Jersey Democrat is one of a handful of freshman Democrats who have softened their opposition to the caucus’s likely choice for speaker in January.

Remember those expensive political advertisements Mike Sherrill used to win over voters?

That’s Mikie Sherrill promising to “stop the partisan politics” – but once again, she’s gone back on her word.  The ink isn’t dry on her election victory, and she is already targeting a local Republican legislator she should be looking to work with to get the job done for her constituents.

Instead of working across party lines, Mikie Sherrill is heading up a political campaign for the state Legislature.  It was announced last week that Sherrill will serve as the Chairman of the campaign of two Democrat candidates for the state Legislature.  How is that ending partisan politics?

Subject: Our campaign kickoff Monday 11/26!

Hi friend -

Darcy Draeger and I would like to invite you to the formal launch of our campaign for Assembly in the 25th Legislative District. We are thrilled that Mikie Sherrill, Congresswoman-elect from NJ’s 11th District, will be attending as a special guest and has agreed to chair of our campaign.

Please join us Monday, November 26th at 1:30pm at the Brookside Community Center in Mendham. Please see the below for more information.

We'd love to see you there.

Best,

Lisa and Darcy

More and more it looks like Mikie Sherrill won her seat dishonestly – by lying to the voters and deceiving them as to her real intentions.

That should come as no surprise to NJTV’s top journalist Michael Aron.  During the campaign, Aron asked Sherrill’s spokesperson to give the media a little more on Mikie Sherrill than the “Navy pilot – Prosecutor – Mom” routine.  Sherrill’s spokesperson smiled at Aron and said: “That’s all you’re ever going to get to know.” Well maybe during the campaign, but now that she’s in office, the bark is going to get peeled off that tree.  It can’t help but be.

Mikie Sherrill’s failure to keep her word on bi-partisanship is in stark contrast to the record of fellow Democrat Josh Gottheimer, who has maintained the gold standard of bi-partisanship in the neighboring 5th congressional district.  You wouldn’t catch Congressman Gottheimer pulling a stunt like Sherrill’s in LD25 – and that’s after he’s been re-elected!

Of course, this didn’t stop the vendor owned InsiderNJ’s Fred Snowflake from engaging in the usual handjob snark about whether Sherrill should be endorsing a Republican instead of Bhimani and Draeger.  If bi-partisan is really and truly your thing, why endorse anyone? Just work with what is. But trust a handjob not to get it (everything is either/or, black/white with them… very anal).

DiGaetano: Is CD05 a choice between two bigots and the PR Firm from Hell?

The battle to represent the 5th congressional district has turned into a real shit show since candidate John McCann lost the favored ballot position in Bergen County and then followed up that bad news with the announcement that his campaign was in deep in debt.  For his latest attack on opponent Steve Lonegan, McCann dug up a twelve years old allegation by a Democrat candidate for Mayor in Lonegan's hometown of Bogota.  The Democrat is an avowed supporter of President Barack Obama and, like McCann, has campaigned against the Trump tax cuts.

The Democrat claims Lonegan called him a bad word in a heated exchange more than a decade ago.  This has led the McCann campaign to label Lonegan as the "Roy Moore of New Jersey" -- a reference to Alabama Senate candidate Judge Roy Moore.   But apparently someone on the McCann campaign didn't think this through because McCann's big fundraiser was built around a guest speaker who was one of Moore's main allies, a guy named Sebastian Gorka.  Take a look at the video below and note the fellow with the beard standing directly behind Moore:

McCann's attacks are taking place while his former boss and department -- the Democrat Sheriff of Bergen County -- are being sued for laying-off and allegedly harassing police officers.  McCann was named by the Bergen Record as the Sheriff's "right hand man" and McCann openly takes credit for getting rid of the police.  We will let NJTV tell the rest of the story:

https://www.njtvonline.org/news/video/lawsuit-bergen-county-officials-ignored-gay-cops-harassment-allegations/

Andrew Kara was one of the dozens of Bergen County cops who lost their jobs followed the merger of the sheriff’s and county police forces that congressional candidate John McCann takes credit for making happen.

“Andrew was called a fag, a queer, a freak and a homo,” said Kara’s attorney, Matthew Peluso.

The abuse went on for years and, according to a suit, the County Executive Jim Tedesco, County Sheriff Michael Saudino and the county prosecutor, now state attorney general, Gurbir Grewal, ignored his complaints.

“Andrew reported this conduct up the chain of command and nothing ever happened,” Peluso said.

During this period, candidate John McCann was the lawyer for the Sheriff's office and the "right hand man" to Sheriff Saudino, according to the Bergen Record.

Peluso says the lawsuit is "about standing up for a gay officer who has been treated cruelly by his supposed colleagues and the county’s leadership structure."

The suit has 21 plaintiffs who allege a variety of harassment.  It calls for reinstatement of the officers, including Kara, back pay, as well as punitive damages for pain and suffering.

Bergen County Republican Organization (BCRO) Chairman Paulie "the hand" DiGaetano has written to all the other GOP county chairs of the 5th congressional district, threatening them and telling them to demand that any GOP candidate connected with bigotry be required to stand down.  Does this mean that DiGaetano intends to deliver the 5th District meekly into the hands of Democrat Josh Gottheimer?

We certainly hope not.

Is DiGaetano -- the doyen of the brylcreem set -- forgetting the kind of pissbag Josh Gottheimer is?  Doesn't he know the record of Josh "the breath monster" Gottheimer?  Well thank goodness someone does and she has his number.  Her name is Rachel Maddow, perhaps you've heard of her?

Before getting elected to Congress in 2016, Josh Gottheimer followed his buddy Mark Penn, the Clintons' polling guy, to take over an international public relations/lobbying corporation called Burson-Marsteller.  These people are real turds.

Hey, don't take our word for it.  Here's what MSNBC's Rachel Maddow had to say about the firm where Josh Gottheimer held the number two position as International Vice President (his buddy Mark Penn was International President):

Yep, Josh Gottheimer and his pal Mark Penn ran the "PR Firm from Hell"!  So now we know what kind of shithouse Paulie is shilling for.

Be careful Peter Murphy. John McCann will get you in trouble.

And if you are Peter Murphy, you certainly don't need that again!

Candidate John McCann served as the right-hand-man to the Democrat Sheriff of Bergen County (according to the Bergen Record).  He's the guy who switched Bergen County from GOP red to Democrat blue.  In 2016, the Sheriff ran on a ticket headed by Democrats Hillary Clinton for President and Josh Gottheimer for Congress.  John McCann worked for him then, and continued to work for him until late last year, when he departed to run for Congress (after sending Saudino a love letter about how proud he was to have worked for the Democrat).

A case in point is John McCann's sneaky little way of getting contributions to Democrat candidates.  Take this example from Passaic County.

McCann's wife used her maiden name and her office address in New York City to slip $1,000.00 to a Democrat running in Wayne Township.  Here is a copy of the report, filed with the New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission (NJELEC):

Screen Shot 2018-03-15 at 4.08.35 PM.png

Why is Peter Murphy supporting someone who gives money to Democrats in his own county?  John McCann works for Democrats in Bergen County and donates to Democrats in Passaic County.  Why would any Republican with even a little self-respect have anything to do with him?

Is it because Peter is a kind of shaky guy himself?  Or maybe it's because there's a deal in the works -- one that would turn Congress over to Nancy Pelosi in the hope that the Democrats will allow the County GOP to keep a few patronage jobs over at the County Clerk's office.  Who knows?  With Peter Murphy, anything is possible.

Earlier this month (March 12, 2018) on NJTV, Passaic County Republican Chairman John Traier praised Democrat Congressman Gottheimer -- the liberal they claim they want to beat!  Traier is a placeholder for Peter Murphy, who was barred from holding the party chairmanship because of his conviction for public corruption.  Earlier this month, the Passaic GOP formally changed its rules to allow convicts to run the party organization.

Here's what Chairman Traier (Murphy's beard) had to say about the Democrat:

“Congressman Gottheimer is much more moderate than most Democrats,” said John Traier, chairman of the Passaic County Republican Committee.

“It’s very important for a congressman of either party to be sensitive to the needs of their district, and you’ve got to give them at least satisfactory grades for what’s he’s done and what he’s accomplished for Bergen, Passaic, Sussex and Warren counties.”

Wow.  What an arsehole!

Expect to see that quote on Democrat Gottheimer's direct mail and cable ads this Fall.

And when you think back and recall how this same Passaic County GOP Chairman,  John Traier, attacked conservative Republican Congressman Scott Garrett in 2016 it has to make you wonder if there is such a thing as a Republican Party in Passaic County anymore.  Maybe the critics are right.  Maybe it is just the smaller, weaker wing of the same party -- the "green" party -- on the hunt for a nice wad of hot greasy cash.

Michael Hill the liar. NJTV's attempted hit in LD24.

We all remember when Governor Chris Christie shut down NJN in 2011.  The old time journalists there were stunned.  One of the few Republicans who dared to stand up to Governor Christie was Assemblywoman Alison Littell McHose (R-24).

On the vote to kill NJN, McHose cast a vote against Christie.  Chancing upon her family's old friend, NJN reporter Michael Aron, the Assemblywoman shocked him with the news that she had told Christie no.  She added, "I did it for you, Michael."

But in the end, a bi-partisan majority came together to screw the New Jersey Network and the measure of transparency it had provided the public.  Christie got what he wanted -- but so did certain Democrats, when Christie ceded to them effective control over the new entity that was to come out of the closure of NJN.

The new station was called NJTV.  It is owned by the New Jersey Public Broadcasting Authority and operated by Public Media NJ, a subsidiary of WNET.org.  Programming and content is farmed out, under contract, to a non-profit organization called the Caucus Educational Corporation (CEC).

The boss of CEC is Steve Adubato Jr. -- a former Democrat Assemblyman and son of the Essex County Democrat Party machine boss.  Yep, that's who is doing the programming and content behind what you see on NJTV.

jc_incometax.png

Yes, the Democrat machine boss' baby boy not only had an Assembly seat handed to him when he was but a mere lad, when he got tired of playing with that, the boss got a Republican Governor to hand him one of the most lucrative patronage deals in the state.  What you ask?  Well, do you care to guess how much little Stevie makes off of this so-called non-profit?  How does $537,218.00 a year grab you?

jc_incometax1.png

Now, do you feel better... or worse?

Long Sussex County's first family, old Senator Bob Littell had often come to the aid of public broadcasting and NJN in particular -- and Mrs. Virginia Littell was an active fundraiser and friend of the station.  Both the late Senator and Mrs. Littell were long-time friends of the Space family, which went back in Sussex County history as long as theirs.  Mrs. Littell was Parker Space's campaign chairwoman when he ran for Freeholder in 2010, and Assemblywoman Alison Littell McHose endorsed Parker Space for Assembly in 2013.  Both Mrs. Littell and the former Assemblywoman were active in Space's 2017 campaign -- Mrs. Littell as the spokeswoman, while the former Assemblywoman cut a radio spot for him.

So imagine the surprise in Sussex County, in the Assemblywoman's old district, when the successors to NJN showed up the day before Tuesday's election to ambush Assemblyman Space and his running mate in District 24.  Now ambush journalism is never pretty, and is always based on a misrepresentation or lie by the reporter.  In this case, the reporter -- a guy named Michael Hill -- claimed to be doing an election wrap-up with a focus on women candidates.

Of course, he wasn't.  Actually, Michael Hill was doing a coordinated hit on Assemblyman Space and running mate Hal Wirths, the former state Commissioner of Labor.  He wasn't there to "wrap-up" anything, but rather to open up or re-open a can of worms.  As if enough hadn't been written already about Assemblyman Space attending a Hank Williams Jr. concert and being photographed with a Hank Williams Jr. band banner -- NJTV's Michael Hill wanted to get one more hit in before Election Day.  Hill also wanted to bring up again -- the day before the election -- the illicit tape recording made of Assemblyman Space, during a private conversation, by a Democrat campaign worker.  In private, Space is heard referring to one of his opponents as a "bitch".

The Democrats complained bitterly about Space's use of the word, despite it being a word heard frequently in Democrat circles.  That, and being sexually molested by major party fundraisers, appears to have been commonplace with the Democrats.  Their motto -- at least until the last few weeks -- seems to have been, "Don't ask, don't tell."

Perhaps the most shocking aspect of this attempted political hit piece is the involvement of Rutgers' Center for Women & Politics.  Another so-called non-partisan organization with a tax exemption from the IRS.  Apparently, the Center's Executive Director, Debbie Walsh was the impetus behind the scam, as the hand-written note below indicates.

jc_story.png

Curiously, Ms. Walsh believes that when a Republican legislator is accused of using the term "bitch" that makes him unfit for office, but when a Democrat legislator is taken to court for stalking women -- she's okay with that because, well hell, that guy's a Democrat!  This is the part of the modern day, partisan-first fake feminism that we don't buy.

We get the feminist movement for the same reasons we support the trade unions movement -- people have the right to organize and collectively stand up to the powerful who are screwing them over.  But what we don't get is when so-called feminists get bent out of shape over a very commonplace word that 99 percent of them use -- but then make decades of excuses for the likes of Harvey Weinstein and Bill Clinton.

If Republican Assemblyman Parker Space is a bad guy, then what does that make Democrat Assemblyman Raj Mukerji?  What does that make Joe Waks, accused of sexually harassing a woman employee and the man who runs Democrat Speaker Vinnie Prieto's SuperPAC for him?

Walsh, whose interview was actually part of the hit piece couldn't contain her smug self-satisfaction at pulling it off.  She reminded us of a constipation sufferer who had just taken a hard dump.  Boy, could you read the satisfaction on that face.  In the interview, she warned that women legislators would hold what Space said against him -- but apparently they forgive stalking and sexual harassment.  No big deal, right?  So long as it comes from a Democrat.

What should be remembered and not ever forgotten is that these people are partisan dirtbags.  Don't cooperate with them.  Don't feed them stories and when they come looking for sustenance cut them off.  If they want to be one-sided then leave them only one-side that will cooperate with them on their bullshit.  Turn them inside out and make them the dull propagandists that they are.  Without available foils, they will soon bore and dry up.
