Marks & Pappas argue: Far-Left Democrats are preferable to Moderate Republicans

A precedent is being set within New Jersey’s Republican family. It is the precedent of fratricide. That if you disagree on issues of substance – or even those of perceived “loyalty” to a national figure or, dare we say it in New Jersey, the national party platform (for there is none here) – then it is okay to kill your fellow Republican outside the arena of the primary.

The tradition of old was that these matters were settled in the internecine contests in June and that afterwards both winners and losers joined together in commonality to defeat the real enemy, the common foe. This method was created by men who had been to war, who had trained hard, unit pitted against unit, who had their likes and dislikes even within their own unit, but who understood that they had to put all that aside and fight together – if they wanted to survive.

But the draft ended a long time ago – before many in politics today were even born – and military service is no longer the commonplace it once was. Now we hold grudges, nurse them, fondle them, and make them the reason why.

And so we come to Martin Marks and Harry Pappas. They have formed a third ticket in the District 21 Assembly race. Like the Democrat Party candidates, they are running against incumbent Republicans Jon Bramnick and Nancy Munoz.

Marks is a former Republican mayor and Pappas is a former Democrat county chairman. Both have publicly stated that their campaign is about defeating the incumbent Republicans. Marks and Pappas acknowledge they have no chance of winning themselves and indeed they have not even taken the necessary measures to mount a serious campaign in terms of resources, organization, policies, or time.

Marks and Pappas are present in the race for the purpose of killing the Republicans. And in killing the Republicans, Marks and Pappas will play an important role in electing Democrat candidates Lisa Mandelblatt and Stacey Gunderman.

They are not just any Democrats. They are pink pussy-hat wearing members of Action Together New Jersey – a far-Left organization that supports the policies of the so-called “Jihad Squad”, so often criticized by President Donald Trump. They support Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’ Green New Deal and are actively cohabitating with an Islamic group that campaigns for the anti-Semitic BDS Movement. This group has been designated a “terrorist” organization by one of America’s closest Islamic allies – and we have just sent troops there and they are actively engaged!

How can helping to engineer the election of two such dangerous, far-Left Democrats be thought of as a “conservative” act? It is an act of delusion by anyone advancing it.

Whether you like him or not, Jon Bramnick is the Republican Leader in the Assembly, and as such, he is our Colonel. If you have a disagreement with your commanding officer, you do not replace him by allowing the enemy to kill him.

Harry Pappas is clearly a fellow-traveler of the Left. His actions on behalf the Democrats are transparent. Worse is the so-called “idealism” expressed by Martin Marks. This “idealism” is like that of Jane Fonda, who hated the policies of her country so much that she called for the execution of American military personnel.

In killing the candidacy of Nancy Munoz, Martin Marks will be derailing one of the most important issues on the agenda of social conservatives: The Human Trafficking and Child Exploitation Prevention Act. Assemblywoman Munoz is the legislation’s prime sponsor in the Assembly and its most outspoken proponent.

Both the U.S. State Department and the United Nations have warned about the rise in human trafficking and the sexual exploitation of women and children. These and other national and international agencies have warned against the kind of porous borders created as the result of policies like Governor Phil Murphy’s illegal Sanctuary State scheme.

Due to the hard work of legislators like Assemblywoman Munoz – and activists like Rev. Mandy Leverett, Rev. Greg Quinlan, Rev. Dominick Cuozzo, Rev. Phil Rizzo, Gabriella Brandeal, Josh Jalinski, Barb Dedeyn, Theresa Yarosh, and many others – the Human Trafficking and Child Exploitation Prevention Act has enough bi-partisan support to become law. The defeat of Assemblywoman Munoz at the hands of Marks & Pappas/ Mandelblatt & Gunderman would be a horrible set-back for those currently enslaved or about to be enslaved by human traffickers.

Martin Marks should have taken this into consideration before launching his petulant jihad against those with whom he has some disagreement, on behalf of those with whom he agrees on nothing. As in the Vietnam War – to any thinking man – the sins of your own should always be preferable to the tyranny of others.

Rev. Mandy Leverett has been working with victims across New Jersey – from all walks of life. Marks should have talked with her and met some of those victims before deciding to bring down the Human Trafficking and Child Exploitation Prevention Act.

But all that is past now. Martin Marks has done what he has done –aided or guided by ex-Democrat Party boss Harry Pappas. The question now becomes… Who will follow him? Who will compound this?

A precedent is being set within New Jersey’s Republican family. It is the precedent of fratricide.

Don’t let Democrats Fortgang and Clarke bury America!

Are you seeing the ads run by Trenton Democrats for Laura Fortgang and Christine Clarke?

They feature a headstone and threaten to “bury” American values like the Bill of Rights, Free Speech, Fiscal Responsibility, and the Free Market.

Fortgang and Clarke are members of the far-Left group Action Together New Jersey, which has officially embraced the insanely ruinous economic policies of  Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s Green New Deal.

Action Together New Jersey has no less than eight members running as the official legislative candidates of the Democrat Party…

District 21

Stacey Gunderman

Lisa Mandelblatt

District 24

Deana Lykins

District 25

Lisa Bhimani

Darcy Draeger

District 26

On February 10, 2018, Action Together New Jersey accepted an award from Linda Sarsour. Accepting the award was Action Together New Jersey’s Executive Director, Uyen “Winn” Khuong; Action Together New Jersey’s Sussex County Co-Chair, Johannah Hinksmon; and Action Together New Jersey’s Director of Operations, Kim Baron.

Linda Sarsour is the controversial Democrat activist who has praised the notoriously anti-Semitic Louis Farrakhan, cop-killer Joanne Chesimard, and the anti-Semitic BDS movement.  In 2017, Sarsour famously called for “Jihad” against the elected government of the United States of America…

The award was in recognition of voter registration drives and other political campaigning done by Action Together New Jersey in coordination with a group called CAIR, the Council on American-Islamic Relations.  Presenting the award was CAIR National Chairwoman, Roula Allouch, and CAIR-NJ Founder, Ahmed Al Shehab.

Due to its apparent ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, one of America’s most important Islamic allies – the United Arab Emirates – has designated CAIR a terrorist organization.

Action Together New Jersey is in the forefront of the drive to push the Democrat Party in New Jersey to the far-Left.  They have joined CAIR in opposing the bi-partisan efforts of New Jersey Congressman Josh Gottheimer (D-5) to push back on members of the so-called “Jihad Squad” (far-Left Democrats Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, and Rashida Tlaib) in their attempt to promote the anti-Semitic BDS movement

The far-Left is on the march, taking over the Democrat Party, pushing out common sense and fiscal responsibility.  The Action Together New Jersey crew represents the very radical far-Left of the Democrat Party.

Polling numbers for so-called “Jihad Squad” suck/ Why do Democrat candidates embrace them?

Democrat internal polling released over the summer showed that members of the so-called “Jihad Squad” were so unpopular that it could have an effect on the 2020 presidential race. The Axios organization reported that Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) was recognized by 74 percent of voters in the poll – but just 22 percent had a favorable view of her. Congresswoman Ilhan Omar (D-MN) was recognized by 53 percent of voters, with just 9% having a favorable view.

"Socialism was viewed favorably by 18% of the voters and unfavorably by 69%," Axios added, whereas "capitalism was 56% favorable; 32% unfavorable."

Meanwhile, a poll from Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez's own district found that she had a more than 2:1 ratio of unfavorable (51 percent) to favorable (21 percent), with 33 percent saying they would be ready to vote against her, and only 13 percent prepared to re-elect her.

Polling figures released by the Hudson Institute indicated that 75 percent of American voters support Israel and say that it is in America’s best interest to have the Jewish State as our closest ally in the Middle East.

60 percent of American voters agreed that anti-Semitism is happening more frequently today than 15 years ago – with most blaming anti-Semitism in the United States on Muslim extremists (37 percent), followed by right-win extremists (28 percent), and then left-wing extremists (22 percent). That’s nearly 60 percent of American voters who disagree with the assessment of Democrat Congressman Tom Malinowksi, who solely blames right-wing extremism for the rise.

A majority of American voters told pollsters that the BDS movement – a central plank in the ideology of the so-called “Jihad Squad” – is anti-Semitic. Most American voters believe the United States should stand with Israel in opposing the BDS movement that is supported by groups like CAIR (the Council on American-Islamic Relations) and their allies, like Linda Sarsour and Action Together.

The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) notes: The campaign to delegitimize Israel is being waged across the globe: The Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement (BDS), which rejects Israel’s right to exist as a Jewish state, is the most prominent effort to undermine Israel’s existence. The BDS campaign is rampant with misinformation and distortion. ADL responds to BDS threats through advocacy and education, and we recently partnered with Reut Institute to develop in-depth analysis and strategic initiatives to marginalize and expose the illegitimacy of the BDS movement.

Advocates of BDS target multinational companies, college communities and well-known institutions, meaning it touches almost everyone. College and university campuses have become battlegrounds.

Some pro-BDS activists have indulged in the most bizarre and repulsive kinds of anti-Semitic propaganda, like the statement pictured above.  And yet, when pro-BDS groups like CAIR and Action Together invade college campuses and meetings of their trustees, those institutions do little to fight back.

Americans applaud actions like that taken by the German government earlier this year, which passed a resolution condemning the BDS movement, comparing it to Nazi-era campaigns against Jewish businesses.  So why are we not hearing more about this from Republicans in New Jersey?  Do voters here support the BDS movement?  Are New Jersey voters more anti-Semitic than elsewhere in the United States?  Why are Republicans so unwilling to take up this battle when fighting anti-Semitism is so obviously the right thing to do?

And what’s up with the Democrats?

No less than eight Democrats who are running for the New Jersey Legislature this year have been clearly identified as members of the far-Left Action Together New Jersey on the group’s website.  They are Stacey Gunderman, Lisa Mandelblatt, Deana Lykins, Lisa Bhimani, Darcy Draeger, Christine Clark, Laura Fortgang, and Steven Farkas.

Why are these Democrats in bed with pro-BDS movement members of Congress when opposing BDS is the morally right thing to do? What is wrong with New Jersey Democrats and their failure to recognize the anti-Semitism of their “heroes”?

Opposing BDS and those who support it is the morally right thing to do and the politically sensible thing to do.

There are four Leftist candidates in LD21 Assembly race

It has now emerged that there are FOUR Leftist candidates in the District 21 Assembly race. Two are straight-forward members of the far-Left. They came from the ranks of Action Together New Jersey, a far-Left group that supports the socialist Green New Deal of Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

If you are looking for a future of meat-free diets (soylent green, anyone?), the end of air travel (unless you are a member of whatever Politburo equivalent they adopt), the American Bill of Rights (“thought crime is a form of violence,” don’t you know?), and restrictive prohibitions on reproduction (think of Red China’s “One Child” policy on steroids)… then the Green New Deal embraced by Democrats Lisa Mandelblatt and Stacey Gunderman is for you!

The Democrat Party is embracing the death cult of Anti-Natalism. Senator Bernie Sanders, one of the top Democrats in the 2020 presidential race, recently argued against human procreation on the basis of its impact on the environment. At a CNN townhall earlier this month, Sanders said he would support making population control part of his climate-change agenda. It was extensively reported in the Washington Post, New York Times, and other national media. So what is Anti-Natalism? Well, we know that traditional conservatives don’t agree with it, so let’s look at it from the left-of-center point of view of an anti-tradition humanist…

Yep, even most anti-traditionalists can’t quite wrap their minds around this new cult that embraces human extermination (even as it makes an argument for the short-term extermination of certain strains of DNA… like Americans). But this is who the Democrats are. And now for their fellow-travelers…

Harry Pappas, the former party boss of the Union County Democrat machine, is running for Assembly in District 21 as a third-party candidate. Pappas claims to be a “conservative independent” but it is very clear what party he’s from. True to his roots, Pappas is a “Democrat”, plain and simple.

Martin Marks, the former Mayor of Scotch Plains, is a different matter. Marks recruited Pappas to run, which says a lot. Last week, New Jersey Globe ran a story that explained their motives and provided a background to their effort and why they have chosen to run as third-party candidates…

It’s possible that former Scotch Plains Mayor Martin Marks and former Springfield Township Committeeman Harry P. Pappas could serve as spoilers in a highly competitive race where Democrats think they can flip two Assembly seats. That might be their objective.

Semi-surreptitiously, Marks and Pappas say their goal is to force Bramnick, the Assembly Minority Leader, to cuddle a conservative agenda – like embracing his 100% NRA rating rather than run away from it.

But privately, the two (so-called) “conservatives” (note: our quotation marks) really want to take responsibility for Bramnick’s defeat.

The New Jersey Globe has learned that the (so-called) “conservatives” could spent more than $20,000 on their race, although that number won’t be verifiable for several weeks.

The independent campaign is targeting high-propensity Republican voters with a conservative bent in a low-turnout election through digital ads and direct mail…

Marks and Pappas are taking votes only from the incumbents. None of their support is likely to come at the expense of Democrats Lisa Mandelblatt and Stacey Gunderman.

The question will be – and there is no rocket science in this – just how many voters in the off-off-year midterm elections will actually come out and vote for two independent candidates who stand no real chance of winning?

That’s right. Pappas and Marks are fellow-travelers of the far-Left.

Fellow-traveler is defined as… a person who is not a member of a particular group or political party (especially the Communist Party), but who sympathizes with the group's aims and policies.

You can’t be a conservative anything and run a campaign to ensure the election of two far-Leftists who are members of an organization that is on record as embracing the Green New Deal. You can’t claim to be Pro-Life but then plot to elect two Democrats who are on record as being members of a group that endorsed the Green New Deal and the Anti-Natalism death cult it represents.

That isn’t Pro-Life. That is Pro-Death Cult. That is Anti-Natalism.

The New Jersey Globe has done a great service for conservatives in exposing the lie behind the candidacy of Pappas and Marks. That lie is clear: Their campaign is not about electing conservatives, it is about ensuring the election of the most virulent kind of left-wing extremists imaginable. Any conservatives who buy into it are not worthy of the name.

Democrats need to address anti-Semitism in their party

While we appreciate their concern for such things as “re-tweets,” Democrat State Committee Chairman John Currie, Congresswoman Mikie Sherrill, and Lt. Governor Sheila Oliver should spend some time looking inward, at their own party, and to the sickening cult of anti-Semitism present within it.

It calls itself the BDS Movement – the Global Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) Movement.  As New Jersey Democrat Josh Gottheimer has said, the BDS Movement targets Israel.  Democrat Congresswomen Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, and Rashida Tlaib are among its leaders.

According to the co-chair of the Bipartisan Task Force on Combatting Anti-Semitism, “The BDS movement demonizes Israel and Jews and applies a double standard whereby Israel is always wrong, and the ‘oppressed’ Palestinians are always in the right – regardless of whether groups such as Hamas are engaging in terrorist acts upon Israeli citizens.”

Earlier this week, the United States Congress passed a resolution denouncing the BDS Movement on a vote of 398 to 17.  The only New Jersey House member to vote against it was Bonnie Watson Coleman.

Shouldn’t the Democrat State Committee have taken the opportunity to make its position known on the BDS Movement and on Congresswoman Watson Coleman’s vote?  We know that “tweets” are important, even “retweets,” but actual votes on legislation we believe are so much more important.

As a member of the Assembly, Democrat Lt. Governor Sheila Oliver was one of just three legislators to oppose a resolution that prohibited investment of state pension and annuity funds in anti-Jewish companies that followed the BDS Movement boycott of the Jewish State and Jewish businesses.  We would like to know if the Lt. Governor has changed her position on the BDS Movement since taking that vote?  We think that should interest the Democrat Party as well.

“Tweets” are important.  So are “re-tweets”.  But so are votes in Congress and the Legislature.

Malinowski ignores genocide in Burma. Makes fashion statement against White people.

Poor Tom Malinowski.  He can’t help it that he’s white… and rich.  A member of one of New Jersey’s liberal blue-blood families.

He seems to feel he must do a form of public penance.  Sure it’s medieval, but self-flagellation is the thing with some liberals.

Tom Malinowski is becoming the incredible shrinking Congressman… taking aim at anything that might earn him a pat on the back from those more woke “new” Democrats – like the Bronx's very own La Pasionaria, Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.  And so, on Monday, the Congressman took aim at “White Supremacy” in the form of a resolution condemning two nut cases responsible for the mass murder of congregants at houses of worship in Pittsburgh and in New Zealand.

That is a pretty easy lift. It isn’t controversial to point out that a celebrity-worshipping society as steeped in violence-as-entertainment as is the post-modern West today, has given rise to quite a few mentally-unstable creatures craving the inevitable attention that starring in their own real-life video game will grant them.  That the feeble-minded connect with a juvenile concept like group supremacy should surprise nobody.  With these sick bastards it is a case of life imitating “art” (if that’s what you want to call the murder-based-gaming that so many children and adolescents are trained on these days).

After all, it was the Democrat “centrist” President Bill Clinton who commissioned a study that produced scientific evidence, every bit compelling as that invoked on global warming, illustrating how the consumption of tens of thousands of ersatz violent acts twists young minds and alters “responsible” behavior.  President Clinton’s people uncovered the fact that the entertainment industry was purposely marketing violence to children, and that children become addicted to violence.  This study is now twenty years old and it remains unacted upon, drowned in a sea of campaign contributions by the entertainment industry and its lobbyists.

What isn’t an easy lift is taking on governments that allow or promote the murder of innocent people. Yep, taking on institutional genocide is a bit tougher than making a fashion statement about the race of a couple sicko ciphers who society would be better served by erasing the memory of them ever existing.

Once upon a time, a liberal like Tom Malinowski would have understood this.  Once upon a time, Tom Malinowski did some heavy lifting.  But then he went establishment, traded in his beliefs for a cushy Washington job, with a nice title and a pension, and lost his balls.

There’s been a genocide going on in the former Burma – now called Myanmar – since 2012, when the military started persecuting an ethnic minority called the Rohingya people, many of whom practice the Muslim faith in this majority Buddhist country.  Around the time that Tom Malinowski began his campaign for Congress – in August of 2017 – the government of Myanmar let loose its latest pogrom on the Rohingyas.  This included “atrocities” in the form of “looting and burning down Rohingya villages, mass killing of Rohingya civilians, gang rapes, and other sexual violence.”

Médecins Sans Frontières estimated in December 2017 that the violence claimed the lives of “at least 10,000 Rohingya people…  At least 392 Rohingya villages in Rakhine state were reported as burned down and destroyed…  as well as the looting of many Rohingya houses, and widespread gang rapes and other forms of sexual violence against the Rohingya Muslim women and girls.”

In September 2018, the United Nations reported that over 700,000 Rohingya people had been driven out of Rakhine state and had become refugees in neighboring Bangladesh.  Two Reuters journalists covering a massacre of innocent people at Inn Din were arrested and imprisoned by the Myanmar government.

Agencies of the United Nations and the International Criminal Court have termed these attacks as acts of “ethnic cleansing” and “genocide”.  In August 2018, the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights declared that the leaders in Myanmar should face charges in the International Criminal Court for "crimes against humanity", including acts of "ethnic cleansing" and "genocide."

The leader of Myanmar, State Counselor Aung San Suu Kyi has been strongly criticized for her inaction and silence in response to the military abuses. On September 27, 2018, the Canadian Parliament voted unanimously to dispossess Myanmar leader Aung San Suu Kyi of her honorary Canadian citizenship for the atrocities against Rohingya Muslims.

Tom Malinowski personally knows State Counselor Aung San Suu Kyi and has, in the past, championed her.  Unfortunately, back when he was working for the State Department – during the administration of President Barack Obama – Malinowski had the opportunity to publicly say something about the genocide, instead, said nothing.  In 2014, the organization United to End Genocide reported:

“The Burmese government has isolated and demonized the 1.3 million Rohingya in Burma as part of a plan to promote a singular nationalist and Buddhist identity. This was formalized in the 1982 Citizenship Act when they were declared ‘non-national’ or ‘foreign residents.’ Today, the Rohingya have become outsiders in a land they have occupied for generations. They are prohibited from marrying, having children, working, obtaining healthcare and going to school...

So who can the Rohingya rely on for protection? Instead of taking a hardline approach against Burma’s repressive government, much of the international community is fighting for the economic spoils of a resource-rich country that is now opening its economy to the world.

Eager to please the Burmese government, the international community is now honoring Burma’s request not even to mention the name Rohingya.

In August, when U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry visited Burma, he met with President Thein Sein and other leading officials, and did not use the word Rohingya. When questioned, a State Department representative said the name issue should be ‘set aside.’

Earlier this summer, Tom Malinowski, the U.S. Special Envoy for Human Rights, visited Burma and failed to say the word ‘Rohingya’. When giving a presentation on the status of the Rakhine state where the majority of the Rohingya live, he did not even acknowledge the group.”

Think about it for just a moment…

This is the same Tom Malinowski who weeps publicly because not enough taxpayer money is being spent on providing Sanctuary State services to illegal immigrants in New Jersey.  But then he does nothing – won’t even acknowledge – the plight of people who have been deemed “foreign” in their own country.

In Congress, Tom Malinowski was quick to capitalize on two recent well-reported events in Pittsburgh and New Zealand – and propose a resolution condemning group supremacy as if it were something more than a silly idea, the province of idiot luft men.  But when an actual bricks and mortar government and its military commits institutional genocide and crimes against humanity… it’s crickets.  Tom Malinowski does nothing.

And remember these words from United to End Genocide… “Instead of taking a hardline approach against Burma’s repressive government, much of the international community is fighting for the economic spoils of a resource-rich country that is now opening its economy to the world.  Eager to please the Burmese government, the international community is now honoring Burma’s request not even to mention the name Rohingya.”

So what did Tom Malinowski do in between leaving the Obama State Department and running for Congress?  Well, it was disclosed when he filed for Congress:

You guessed it.  He tried to help the “international community” cash in on those “economic spoils” of “resource-rich” Myanmar/Burma.  Tom Malinowski became part of an entity called the Inle Advisory Group.  Who are they? Well, we’ll let them tell you themselves…

Uniting Myanmar’s Heritage With its Brightest Future.

Inle Advisory Group is a boutique firm focused on development opportunities in Myanmar. As Myanmar opens up to political and economic engagement from around the globe, Inle Advisory Group will be there to provide in-depth and comprehensive advisory services for clients across industries.

Like the iconic fishermen using his distinctive rowing style to navigate the difficult waters of Inle Lake, Inle Advisory Group will utilize our unique knowhow and capabilities to steer our clients through the many investment challenges. The strength of Inle Advisory Group is unparalleled knowledge of Myanmar. This deep expertise equips us to provide clients looking to invest in the world’s newest emerging market with a tailored package of the best possible tools and strategies for long-term growth and desired results.

Inle Advisory Group will ensure our clients are fully informed to invest successfully in a challenging environment, promoting the “gold standard” of business practices that will benefit U.S. companies and the people of Myanmar.

Something tells us that there was an Inle-type “advisory group” back in the 1930’s promoting a “gold standard” of business practices and enabling another regime set on genocide.  Hey Congressman, is trade really the right response to genocide and crimes against humanity?  What point is made by making murderers rich?

Tom Malinowski… once upon a time you had balls. Now… just stick to your fashion statements and virtue signaling.
